Makeup by Katina, LLC, has been providing makeup applications to clients throughout the state of Utah since 2013. Makeup by Katina’s work is regularly featured in publications such as: Utah Valley Bride & Groom, WedUtah, and Utah Bride in print and social media. Makeup by Katina has also worked in print for Jaybird Headphones, and multiple pageant programs throughout the state. Makeup by Katina is currently the official makeup artist for the Miss Utah USA, Miss Utah Teen USA, Miss Greater Salt Lake, Miss Timpanogos, Miss Deseret, and Miss Sandy pageants. Starting in 2016, Makeup by Katina expanded to become a team of qualified and talented makeup artists and hairstylists to provide full preparation services for larger bridal parties and other events.

Makeup by Katina is known for creating timeless, classic, and sophisticated makeup applications. Using professional products and techniques, Makeup by Katina completes all makeup applications and hairstyles with speed and accuracy, while maintaining a keen eye for perfecting every detail of the finished look. Makeup by Katina has built a reputation throughout the industry of being hardworking, punctual, and committed to their work.

Katina Stephens is the owner, founder, and lead makeup artist for Makeup by Katina. She began her obsession with creating flawless makeup looks while still in high school, and began attending formal trainings after graduation. After competing on numerous pageant stages, and then becoming a bride herself, Katina became dedicated to helping women feel confident and beautiful on the most important days of their lives. Certified through Acaydia School of Aesthetics, MAC Cosmetics, Temptu, Faces by Rob, and Airbrush Masterclass, Katina brings a wealth of professional knowledge and skill to every appointment. Clients have come to describe Katina as being intelligent, kind, and tenacious. Committed to keeping her techniques up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies, Katina attends numerous trainings and works continuously with leading industry mentors to ensure that every client receives the very best. Katina’s highly sought after talent for creating flawless looks has led her to working with individuals for their professional headshots and family portraits, stage contestants for local pageants and fitness competitions, brides preparing for their most special day, as well as working on various photoshoots for local and regional bridal magazines. Katina also worked as a makeup assistant on the set for the 2013 film "Survivor" produced by Arrowhead Productions. Recently, Katina was awarded the WeddingWire Couples' Choice Award, for her quality work, and outstanding reviews from clients all over the state.

Katina Stephens

Caitlin Willardson is the lead hairstylist for Makeup by Katina. Caitlin is a licensed cosmetologist having studied at Taylor Andrews Academy in Orem, Utah. Caitlin excelled with her specialty training in hair dressing, and was honored with the award of Contemporary Stylist of the Year while she was still in school. Caitlin has chosen to specialize in bridal and event styling because of her love of helping women to look and feel their best for their special occasions. Caitlin is known as Makeup by Katina's ultimate "hype woman", always making sure that every client knows just how beautiful they are on the inside, and on the outside. Having worked in various wedding dress salons in both Utah and Texas, Caitlin is incredibly knowledgeable in not only creating beautiful hair styles, but also in creating beautiful overall bridal styles as well.
